If your skin is dry due to wheather, air-con etc... sebum will discrete oil which will result on the oily look n feel. Sure.. if you don't mind looking like you have just drip you face with cooking oil, that is fine... plase do not read further. STOP!!! I know there are few people out there do not want to slap moisturizer becoz they truly believed if you put on cream ur face will be oily.

I can only stressed out here, a good range skincare product they have different product by skin type and what is it for? such as brighten complexion, anti-wrinkle, blemish control and so on. Product sometimes come in cream or lotion mixture. Cream texture is for dry skin as it tends to be rich and lotion is a lighter version of it made for oily skin.

ESTEE LAUDER Idealist Facial Scrub

I'm so excited to review on the new scrub i've tried yesterday... Marvellous... jeng.... jeng... jeng...

Lately I've started estee lauder range... It suits my skin, no breakout but no spontaneous miracle either. Since i'm using sk11 before... It's a matter of switching to equivalent quality skincare range with slightly cheaper prices.

First i have tried Advance Night Repair (ANR) then moving on to Idealist Skin Refinisher, which I will definately give my review. I did get free sample Idealist Dual Action Refinishing Treatment. Yes..... Its a mouthful. It's a scrub okay... with a complex name.

Estee Lauder Idealist Dual Action Refinishing Treatment claimed to be:

Texture : Pasty ... like semi dry plaster for wall ... It reminds me of that

Colour : White

Smell : There is a soft smell. nothing overpowering or offensive.

Application: squeeze around 20 cents blob on your palm. directly massage on your whole face avoiding eyes area. It need to be quick, immediate contact to skin will release heat. massage circular motion. Leave it on for 5 minutes and rinse.

Immediately i could feel the texture on my palm is softer. When I look in the mirror, i can see better complexion on my face. Best of all i could feel the soft, smooth and luxurios feel on my skin. i'm not sure if it's a temporary effect but when i woke this morning and i could see my face look somewhat better.

Pricewise: Since it's free, i don't know the price. It won't be cheap but it's a good product.

Future Investment???? I would definately buy this. It could be use once or twice a week.

It does what it claim to do... what more could i ask.

BioRE CLEANSING OIL

Since in my last entry, i've mentioned about the importance of having make up remover prior cleanser. I would like to share my favourite make-up remover. I wear minimal make-up, eyeshadow and bit of blusher. On the lazy side, i do not want to have cotton pad soak with conventional make up remover where skin must be dry. i don't have the time. I have been looking for cleansing oil which can be used in the bathroom, applied with hand either wet or dry.


Biore Cleansing Oil is the ONE. 3 pumps, massage gently with circular motion on my face, gently rub my eyelid and rinse. No oily texture and feeling clean at the same time. Then i continue with cleanser. Simple as that. Price wise... Normal price is around RM22++ per bottle (150ml). During sale or promotional period is around RM18++.

The smell is simply devine. Cross between apple and pear.

there are so mary type of cleanser in the market.
If you do wear makeup (compact powder is also considered as make up). Please use cleansing oil or make up remover before facial wash... It's good uollsss. It will remove all residue.

Face scrub should be used 1-2 a week to really take out the dead skin. But careful, it could easily damage your skin texture.

Gampang... oppsss Gambang

Little update on my activity. Last week 26-29 Oct 2010, i went for UiTM IT Officer conference in Bukit Gambang Resort. Banyak jugakla input yg dapat... if i say otherwise adanye kena blacklist... heheheh nanti x dijemput lagi.

One of the topic they were discussing was working from home. Ada la konon-kononnya nak bagi selected staff keja kat rumah. Frankly I have no problem with that, x jeles pon. Tetapi there few areas yg perlu difikir-fikirkan sebelum nak implement kan.

1. Staf sasaran (adakah akan menjejaskan tugas hakiki yang lain, kalau dah dalam senarai tugas dah berjela-jela mana mungkin x tereffect tugas no 2,3,4,5,6,7 dll)

2. Sokongan end user (adakah client kita boleh tolerate, understand and support our objectives)

3. Tempoh pelaksanaan (Adakah secara berjadual / bila ada keperluan sahaja)

4. Penilaian prestasi.... adakah output boleh dinilai secara objektif atau subjektif?

5. Dah buat survey/kajian ke jabatan lain dengan skop tugas yang sama sekiranya sudah melaksanakan dan apakah hasilnya?

6. Adakah kesesuaian melaksanakan since most of our staffs are multitasking, if from home camne ngan operation, maintenance and end user support.

Tapi sometimes i would love to work from home. Bukan apa... bila masa office hours kalau dok kat opis tu memanjang je ada kerja lain... call la, discussion la, vendor/user nak jumpa la..... sedangkan ada paperwork melambak dengan dateline yang kejam tahap gaban... Bila nak buat tu. So kena la stayback and start doing my 'serious' job after 5.

Kalau dok rumah pon.... anak ke sekolah / babysitter okla... Tapi yang anak memang ada kat rumah.... alamatnye.... distraction.

Maxi Cotton

I'm planning to acquire 2 (3.5metres) of japanese cotton. Nak tempah buat maxi... Yesterday while I was in Tesco Damansara, I walked in to cottonzone. A shop which is actually selling all types of cotton fabric. Japanese, english, swiss, korean and many more country's name type of cotton and viscose. Pricewise reasonable... japanese/english cotton RM45 /metre. I wanted to grab 2 designs i loike... Unfortunately my hubby was in a hurry. So we left (only the owner was there, busy with customer and no sales assistant). I might be heading there again. (Itupun kalo x jumpa tempat lain).

I also found some info regarding cotton fabric care...

1. Cotton fabric shrinks, it must be pre-washed before cutting/sewing
2. Do not use bleach or stain removing chemicals. (Fabric softener may also affect the breathability of the cotton fabric by clogging the natural pores of the fabric).
3. Handwash or machine-wash in cold or warm (not hot) water
4. Wash coloured items separately
5. Do not dry cotton garments in direct sunlight

No wonderla I pernah beli kaftan indon, pas basuh dia shrink... sah x basuh sebelum buat baju.
