BioRE CLEANSING OIL

Since in my last entry, i've mentioned about the importance of having make up remover prior cleanser. I would like to share my favourite make-up remover. I wear minimal make-up, eyeshadow and bit of blusher. On the lazy side, i do not want to have cotton pad soak with conventional make up remover where skin must be dry. i don't have the time. I have been looking for cleansing oil which can be used in the bathroom, applied with hand either wet or dry.


Biore Cleansing Oil is the ONE. 3 pumps, massage gently with circular motion on my face, gently rub my eyelid and rinse. No oily texture and feeling clean at the same time. Then i continue with cleanser. Simple as that. Price wise... Normal price is around RM22++ per bottle (150ml). During sale or promotional period is around RM18++.

The smell is simply devine. Cross between apple and pear.

Biore Cleansing Oil effectively dissolves and removes stubborn makeup, including waterproof mascara, while lifting away dirt and impurities. Semua produk kecantikan kat pasaran, bagusssss..... but few factors la kan kena timbang tara before we finally decide what to use, such as:

5. Ingredient... Content of your product... paraben free, no side effect... allergy???

and many more things need to be considered.

there are so mary type of cleanser in the market.
If you do wear makeup (compact powder is also considered as make up). Please use cleansing oil or make up remover before facial wash... It's good uollsss. It will remove all residue.

Face scrub should be used 1-2 a week to really take out the dead skin. But careful, it could easily damage your skin texture.

Gampang... oppsss Gambang

Little update on my activity. Last week 26-29 Oct 2010, i went for UiTM IT Officer conference in Bukit Gambang Resort. Banyak jugakla input yg dapat... if i say otherwise adanye kena blacklist... heheheh nanti x dijemput lagi.

One of the topic they were discussing was working from home. Ada la konon-kononnya nak bagi selected staff keja kat rumah. Frankly I have no problem with that, x jeles pon. Tetapi there few areas yg perlu difikir-fikirkan sebelum nak implement kan.

1. Staf sasaran (adakah akan menjejaskan tugas hakiki yang lain, kalau dah dalam senarai tugas dah berjela-jela mana mungkin x tereffect tugas no 2,3,4,5,6,7 dll)

2. Sokongan end user (adakah client kita boleh tolerate, understand and support our objectives)

3. Tempoh pelaksanaan (Adakah secara berjadual / bila ada keperluan sahaja)

4. Penilaian prestasi.... adakah output boleh dinilai secara objektif atau subjektif?

5. Dah buat survey/kajian ke jabatan lain dengan skop tugas yang sama sekiranya sudah melaksanakan dan apakah hasilnya?

6. Adakah kesesuaian melaksanakan since most of our staffs are multitasking, if from home camne ngan operation, maintenance and end user support.

Tapi sometimes i would love to work from home. Bukan apa... bila masa office hours kalau dok kat opis tu memanjang je ada kerja lain... call la, discussion la, vendor/user nak jumpa la..... sedangkan ada paperwork melambak dengan dateline yang kejam tahap gaban... Bila nak buat tu. So kena la stayback and start doing my 'serious' job after 5.

Kalau dok rumah pon.... anak ke sekolah / babysitter okla... Tapi yang anak memang ada kat rumah.... alamatnye.... distraction.

Maxi Cotton

I'm planning to acquire 2 (3.5metres) of japanese cotton. Nak tempah buat maxi... Yesterday while I was in Tesco Damansara, I walked in to cottonzone. A shop which is actually selling all types of cotton fabric. Japanese, english, swiss, korean and many more country's name type of cotton and viscose. Pricewise reasonable... japanese/english cotton RM45 /metre. I wanted to grab 2 designs i loike... Unfortunately my hubby was in a hurry. So we left (only the owner was there, busy with customer and no sales assistant). I might be heading there again. (Itupun kalo x jumpa tempat lain).

I also found some info regarding cotton fabric care...

1. Cotton fabric shrinks, it must be pre-washed before cutting/sewing
2. Do not use bleach or stain removing chemicals. (Fabric softener may also affect the breathability of the cotton fabric by clogging the natural pores of the fabric).
3. Handwash or machine-wash in cold or warm (not hot) water
4. Wash coloured items separately
5. Do not dry cotton garments in direct sunlight

No wonderla I pernah beli kaftan indon, pas basuh dia shrink... sah x basuh sebelum buat baju.

Mycin T3

There is one time I pegi farmasi to buy Dalacin T (There is one pharmacy in Selayang area jual ubat cheaper than most pharmacy). Alas, stok Dalacin T tu dah habis. So pharmacist tu suggest cuba Mycin T3. i bagitau dia, I dah biasa pakai Dalacin T.

I was later explained both Dalacin T and Mycin T3 have the same ingredients. Dalacin T is from UK and Mycin T3 is a local product. So... cheaper. Macam zarina AF dalam iklan Belilah Barangan Malaysia... I pon tersenyum-senyum amikla Mycin T3. Not bad. For 30ml, pricewise max RM30. Suka suka suka. Jimat lagi.

Applicator sponge is directly attached to the bottle. So idakle membazir macam guna Dalacin T. U only used the amount u needed. Effect pon sama. Overall thumb up. Yeayyyyy

Dalacin T

I have very sensitive skin. Even mosquito bites can end up with pimples (I know... what??? mosquito tu saja dengki ka.... usik muka). Tu belum lagi that time of the month. Tak kira pakai skincare product apa pon.... uishh menjadi-jadi. Orang tua kata jangan picit jerawat tu, nanti berbekas... So I biar jelah... Pimples tu pon makin membesar and bila dah fully stretch.... swoosh... meletupla gunung berapi. What happen was... makin besarla kawah di muka... Tu tak termasuk lagi parut hitam yang setahun baru hilang.

So uols could only imagine dalam setahun berapa kali naik jerawat... belum sempat parut hitam tu hilang... naik jerawat baru... Berapa banyak jerawat daaa. I pon mencari-cari la kat memana forum kat internet. Ada few yang suggest Dalacin T. Nampak macam best je review...

Boleh didapati daripada mana-mana farmasi, but you need to ask the pharmacist taww... sebab it's a controlled drug. 30 ml...(Price about RM50) Tekstur macam clear water. Ada cup kecil (about the size of the cap), tuang sket kat situ and apply with the sponge applicator provided. Dab aje kat area yg ada jerawat, terutama yg nampak macam nak tumbuh. Area gatal-gatal pon boleh. I selalu pakai right after facial wash, with dry face and apply, dah kering baru pakai toner.

Kekadang bila nak peot tu, i akan tepek lightly kat area yg prone. Mencegah lebih baik drpd mengubat.

Result: Wow... Love it. Jerawat baru nak tumbuh hilang selepas sehari dua. Senang nak pakai, n just clear lotion with water tekstur, very light.

Tricky Questions

Every weekend mesti i balik kg. It's a must la, since my children are there. So as usual sunday evening i started packing my stuff. My eldest... Arif came with my old name signage. Ala masa zaman ITM, it's green and yellow...
Arif: Arif jumpa ni. (showing my name signage)
Me: Mommy punye nama
Arif: Mommy suka ke nama mommy?
Me: Of course, it' my name.
Arif: Kenapa nama mommy ada Zakaria.
Me: Oh tu nama ayah mommy
Arif: Mommy ada ayah ke? (looking surprise)
Me: Mestila. Semua org ada ayah. Tapi ayah mommy dah meninggal
Arif: Ayah mommy mati kena bunuh ke?

Hmmmmm... byk sgt tgk berita ni. Sadis sungguh.

Me: X la ... ayah mommy dah tua (Hello... alasan x logik tu, bantai je lah labu)
Arif: Tua macam wan (nenek) ke?

hehehehehh kan dah masuk perangkap. Mesti next question.. if wan also tua... how come she's still alive?

Me: Lebih krg la (see... i'm taking the safe way out from this conversation)... Arif tunggu ye mommy nak hantar brg dlm keta....

MEKAR SEMILU II

Bagus naw produk mekar semilu tu till I have to continue my story mory about the product. After my first trial of sabun beras+susu+collagen. I've tried krim mutiara. krim tu dibuat oleh bunga teratai dan partikel mutiara. Membantu menghalus dan menggebuskan kulit.

Refer photo above, in the middle my feveret sabun, krim di sebelah kanan with the lighter shade is krim mutiara n yang kiri sekali adalah krim siang.

After few days pakai krim mutiara, i noticed my skin is slightly smoother and fairer. Ok. No skin allergies on my sensitive skin plus minus some pimples yang kuar at the time of the month tu la. Tekstur krim is very light and you apply sikit je on your face. krim ni boleh tahan lebih daripada sebulan.... Even my full-moon face pon dua bulan kot. Apply twice daily, morning n evening. after toner n skin softener...

Krim siang mekar semilu pon i loike... ada uv protector but i'm not sure spf berapa... it acts like foundation at the same time. Kulit nampak berseri and cerah. X pakai bedak pon ok.... Tapi weekend boleh la... if i go to work i always apply face powder. Remember ye nama krim pun krim siang, so you should know utk dipakai di waktu siang sahaja ye.

It is a must have for me.... wajib... memang i simpan stok aje. takut abesss. Toner mekar semilu i'll review later. (hahahahah agak dah sure x best sbb bukan must have kan.) Sabun RM19 + krim mutiara RM65 + krim siang RM40 = RM124.00 Value Buy.... krim siang tu boleh pakai sampai 3 bulan tawwww

Mekar Semilu

Kulit kusam???
Hahaha... i was worried, everytime i went for facial kat salon/spa. Mesti kena tegur punya. "ishhh kulit kusam, nampak dull".... Huh??? There is one time, one kakak i knew from my office bawak pergi spa kat Alor Gajah, Melaka. I was amazed at the lady who owned the spa... cantekkkk. Bila nak balik tu iasked her... "is there any good product i could use to improve my skin?"

Terus je dia tunjuk produk mekar semilu. I was like..."x pernah dengar pon, selalu dgr people raving about shadira, nv, de putih... betul ke idak nih? After few days barula i tahu citer sebenar... lady tu asalnya x de la cantik, pastu laki dia tinggalkan dia... dia pakai produk mekar semilu.... fuh... cunnnn... even ex hubby pon gila talak.

Jgn cakap plak i ada share ngan mekar semilu nih. I pon bayar full price occay... since it's a good product i think worth la to be mentioned about.



Belek punya belek i pilih sabun susu+beras+collagen priced RM19 per bar. That was the best investment ever... Boleh tahan 2 bulan ... worth kan? Ikut photo kat atas tu... kotak kelabu asap tu... sabun kaler putih and wangi gitu...wangi bau beras n susu.

Tatacara: Basahkan tangan... gosok sabun kat tangan... gosokkan tangan sampai berbuih and buat circular movement all over ur face.... bilas... wahhhhh licin and gebus gitu. The best thing bila pegang pipi, smooth gila mcm cermin... at the same time, kulit bukan jenis yg tegang kering tu. kulih pon nampak lebih cerah.

Berbaloi-baloi...

after 2 weeks, pegi balik kat spa tu dan beli pula krim mutiara (mekar semilu). Ini produk termahal dr mekar semilu. RM65 untuk sebekas kecik tu.

SK-II

First real commitment to beauty/skincare product for me would be SK-II. Started using them since mac 2009... I have mix and match depending on the suitability on my skin. I'm going to do personal review on each item i've tried....

1. Facial Treatment Essence (Miracle Water)

Overall Verdict

Price: 215ml --> RM449.00 (overly priced)

They just increased the price in April... before 215 ml --> RM419.00

Remember: Prices will increase annually in April. If you think u could afford it... By no means use it.

Packaging: Clear bottle/tube... you could see the content n when to buy a new one

Texture + smell : watery, dry quickly, bearable smell.

How to apply : Soak cotton pad about the size of 50 cents and dab all over face even eyes. If the pad is still moist... dab your neck as well.

wash face --> toner --> FTE --> Moisturizer --> sun block

Does it work??? Yes... But if you could get the same result using other product which are cheaper.... ditch it.

Yes I admit, miracle water does help me with oily skin and helps to improve my complexion. BUT it does not hinder acne... get acne-medication product to help u. I'll have some posting regarding this product later

How it all started

I have skin problem. Start noticing pimples blosomming on my chubby cheeks when i was about 13. It was horrible, since then it's a neverending story. Coming from "jerawat batu" family, it's all hereditary. I was never bothered to find good reputable skincare product. I just used facial wash and day cream for more than 10 years. One fine day, i realised how i'm going present myself if i have zits plus all kawah bulan all over my face.

Most important.... Nice complexion. So i started my journey... It was not easy uols.... what product will repair my skin??? hmmmm i noticed an article about SK-II. A scientist who works more than 10 years with SK-11 doing research. He is in his 50s yet his skin is flawless and young... I wanted that. SO i read about pitera... sound good. Should i try and experiment? I have training in KL... for a week. Grab the opportunity to meet with long lost friends. I've talked to KP about my dream to have better skin and mentioned about trying SK-II. Went to SK-II in mid valley and get the trial pack... cost about RM100++. Then i started to get rashes on my forehead. medium bump all over my forehead.

Gone back to SKII counter and asked about the rashes. I was told by SA that... sometimes skin can have readverse reaction for a while... it's a process of expelling the toxin from the skin.... HUH???? how long? I've asked. It depends on people... 2 weeks to 1 month... well ... mine took about 2 months to finally clear up.

Kudut is a term i always use to describe someone who is thin... skin and bones. Well both my little ones.... belongs to kudut group as with my hubby. I'm missing my little kuduts who are right now in melaka. They'll be staying there till december. My mom needs to stay in her home as cik non will be doing her pilgrimage in november. But don't worry my lil' kuduts... mommy will be coming home this friday... sob... sob...ayah will be in kulim... hehehehe carik duit sebab nak maintain mommy.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

I'm dedicating this blog to my beautiful lil' princess whom at 2++ years understand she wants to look beautiful. Who always watching her mum in front of the mirror slapping all kind of creams... just so she could have beautiful skin... watching that when she found abu ubat nyamuk, excitedly applying them on her face. Bless her.

The intelligent lil' girl who managed to drag a chair to a cabinet to get her grandmother's SK-II signature cream and lather the cream on the marble floor. My mom was not happy of course.. the RM400++ cream is now half full.
