Information on Iron-On (Hot Fix) Swarovski Crystals

Swarovski Hot Fix rhinestones stones have glue that melts at about 340 - 375 degrees F. If your fabric is easily damaged by heat, these are not the stones for you. These stones can be applied with your household iron or a heat press. A specialized tool, the "as seen on TV" BeJeweler can also be used. The BeJeweler will pick-up round rhinestones, heat them until the glue begins to melt so that you can attach them to your fabric. Its quick, it' clean and its easy.

The weakest link in the rhinestone system is its mirror backing, the coating on the back of a rhinestone is a mirror bonded to the glass. This mirror does not have a very strong bond with the glass and can be pulled free of the glass over time. This is why you may see a silver spot where a rhinestone used to be. When you use heat set rhinestones, only the backing is glued to the fabric. These stones will come loose over time in a washing machine and/or dryer. It is highly advised to hand-wash any items with glued rhinestones, regardless of how they are put on the garment.

Do not dry clean any garment that has any kind of glued stones on it, be it glue or heat fix. Regardless of the manufacturer, the cleaning fluids can denature the glue, cause it to become yellow and brittle, or just plain dissolve it. Even Swarovski, who that says that their glue will withstand dry cleaning, it with reservations some dry cleaning will not harm the glue, other dry cleaning will. And since you do not know what kind of fluids are used at any one time, you will not know if your stones will survive the process don't take the chance!

Paling sesuai kalau baju ada focal point seperti bunga sejambak... Apa lagi... tepek je kristal kat situ... Terserlah baju... Yang bagusnya kat tudung boleh ditampal... Cara tampal pon mudah...

1. Sediakan hot fix kristal yang mencukupi.. (kalau setakat 5 biji ye... buang karan... x nampak) kaler yang bersesuaian. Mix n match few colours

2. Letakkan di tempat yang anda hajati. Susun ikut group... Kalau sekuntum bunga.. susun kat bunga tu

3. Letakkan iron yang panas di atasnya. Jangan gerakkan iron tu dulu. Kasi lekat. Kalau tak lain tempat lekatnya batu kristal tu. Sebab di belakang hot fix kristal tu ada gam. Kena panas... Nanti cair gam tu ye... Paling bagus pakai steam iron sebab suhunya panas tapi kain x rosak.

4. If nak wat design kristal tu boleh beli plastik bergam khas. Letak kristal di tempat rata mengikut design yang diinginkan pastu lekatkan dengan plastik bergam. Then letak atas kain dan iron.

Kristal ni pon berjenis juga of coz la yg paling terbaeeekkkk hot fix kristal swarovski yg memang terbukti kemengancamannya ( ada ke istilah ni? ) Jom cuci mata
Untuk yg menjaga bajet boleh cuba hot fix dmc from taiwan/china.... tidak silau cam kristal tu, tapi jauh lebih murah.... So pilih ye....Nak cantik or murah??? sapa nak jawab? hehehe

Thanks to my old friend Naz for the original recipe. I've modify it to my liking. It tastes heaven. ala-ala famous amos.

250 gm butter
100 gm castor sugar
50 gm brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp vanilla essence

280 gm flour
30 gm cocoa powder
2 tbsp corn flour
1/2 tsp soda bicarbonate
2 tbsp milk powder / fresh milk (I used dutch lady full cream milk in carton)
a pinch of salt

170 gm nuts (peanut/pecan/almond/hazelnut) I used almond nib + almond sliver
170 gm chocolate chips (imported -can stand high heat)


160'Celcius - 15-25 minutes

What's Keeping Me Occupied

I have a new hobby!!!! well it's not exactly new in my life but definitely my passion at the moment. I have done this few years back... then i moved to a new hobby but it's coming back to me now.....
It's beading uollsssss. Before this when i was in melaka i used to tempah at this one guy at my workplace. He's creative, beautifully design and CHEAP too.... Nowadays (in shah alam / selayang) i could not get the same craftmanship with good price.
I like some of the design on the internet (blogs/fotopages), but i wouldn't know where to start... So one of my friend held beading class. RM 20 for 2 hours inclusive of cloth, beads, labuci, drinks and light snack. You could choose whichever technique you like to learn... I was fascinated by sekebun bunga... One class i've attended.... And the result... whallaaaaaa...

If your skin is dry due to wheather, air-con etc... sebum will discrete oil which will result on the oily look n feel. Sure.. if you don't mind looking like you have just drip you face with cooking oil, that is fine... plase do not read further. STOP!!! I know there are few people out there do not want to slap moisturizer becoz they truly believed if you put on cream ur face will be oily.

I can only stressed out here, a good range skincare product they have different product by skin type and what is it for? such as brighten complexion, anti-wrinkle, blemish control and so on. Product sometimes come in cream or lotion mixture. Cream texture is for dry skin as it tends to be rich and lotion is a lighter version of it made for oily skin.

I'm so excited to review on the new scrub i've tried yesterday... Marvellous... jeng.... jeng... jeng...

Lately I've started estee lauder range... It suits my skin, no breakout but no spontaneous miracle either. Since i'm using sk11 before... It's a matter of switching to equivalent quality skincare range with slightly cheaper prices.

First i have tried Advance Night Repair (ANR) then moving on to Idealist Skin Refinisher, which I will definately give my review. I did get free sample Idealist Dual Action Refinishing Treatment. Yes..... Its a mouthful. It's a scrub okay... with a complex name.

Texture : Pasty ... like semi dry plaster for wall ... It reminds me of that

Smell : There is a soft smell. nothing overpowering or offensive.

Application: squeeze around 20 cents blob on your palm. directly massage on your whole face avoiding eyes area. It need to be quick, immediate contact to skin will release heat. massage circular motion. Leave it on for 5 minutes and rinse.

Immediately i could feel the texture on my palm is softer. When I look in the mirror, i can see better complexion on my face. Best of all i could feel the soft, smooth and luxurios feel on my skin. i'm not sure if it's a temporary effect but when i woke this morning and i could see my face look somewhat better.

Pricewise: Since it's free, i don't know the price. It won't be cheap but it's a good product.

Future Investment???? I would definately buy this. It could be use once or twice a week.

It does what it claim to do... what more could i ask.
